4 fall mocktails to sip this November
Apple cider, cranberry and warm spices bring seasonal flavor to these four alcohol-free drinks.

Festive Orange Sparkler mocktail that pairs great with the holidays.
Whether you’re hosting Thanksgiving, planning a family gathering or looking for something festive to sip, fall flavors offer plenty of possibilities. These four mocktails range from crisp and bubbly to warm and cozy, with simple ingredients and easy preparation.
Each recipe makes one drink.
1. Apple Cider Ginger Fizz
Apple cider and ginger beer come together for a refreshing drink with a little spice. Fresh lime balances the sweetness.
Ingredients
3 oz apple cider
½ oz fresh lime juice
3 oz alcohol-free ginger beer
Apple slices and a cinnamon stick, for garnish
How to make it: Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the apple cider and lime juice, then top with ginger beer. Stir gently and garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick.
Serving tip: Choose a ginger beer labeled alcohol-free. For a milder ginger flavor, substitute ginger ale.
2. Cranberry Orange Sparkler
Cranberry and orange make a colorful pairing for the Thanksgiving table. Sparkling water keeps the drink light, while rosemary adds a seasonal aroma.
Ingredients
2 oz cranberry juice cocktail
2 oz orange juice
½ oz fresh lime juice
2–3 oz plain sparkling water
Orange slice, fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig, for garnish
How to make it: Add the cranberry juice, orange juice and lime juice to a glass filled with ice. Top with sparkling water and stir gently. Garnish with orange, cranberries and rosemary.
Serving tip: For a pitcher, combine the juices ahead of time and refrigerate. Add the sparkling water just before serving to preserve the bubbles.
3. Maple Pear Cooler
Pear juice gives this mocktail a mellow fruit flavor, while maple syrup adds sweetness and lemon brings a bright finish.
Ingredients
3 oz pear juice or pear nectar
½ oz fresh lemon juice
1 tsp pure maple syrup
2–3 oz plain sparkling water
Thin pear slices, for garnish
How to make it: Shake the pear juice, lemon juice and maple syrup with ice. Strain into a glass over fresh ice, then top with sparkling water. Stir gently and garnish with pear slices.
Serving tip: Pear nectar is often thicker and sweeter than pear juice. If using nectar, start without the maple syrup, taste and add it as needed.
4. Warm Spiced Apple Cranberry Cider
This cozy combination of apple, cranberry, cinnamon and orange is an easy option for chilly evenings or holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
5 oz apple cider
2 oz cranberry juice cocktail
1 cinnamon stick
2 whole cloves
1 strip of orange peel
1 tsp honey or maple syrup, optional
How to make it: Combine the cider, cranberry juice, cinnamon stick, cloves and orange peel in a small saucepan. Heat gently for 5–10 minutes without boiling. Strain into a heatproof mug and sweeten to taste, if desired.
Serving tip: For a gathering, multiply the ingredients and keep the finished drink warm in a slow cooker. Remove the cloves and orange peel after the flavor develops so they don’t overpower the cider.
